Abstract: In order to solve the problems of low accuracy and low antiinterference of open loop tension control system and poor synchronization and poor processing effect of conventional equipments, a new tension control technology, using close loop policy and PID algorithm, which could improve tension control accuracy and raise antiinterference capability was investigated. On the basis of this technology, compensation mechanism for multi axial velocity adjustment which could solve the problem of synchronization when the machine was running had been introduced. The purpose of synchronously regulating multiple spindle tension dynamically and smoothly was accomplished. The experimental results show that by the application of this new technology, the ME776ASF sanding machine which is made in Haining Textile Machinery Factory achieves better performance than the conventional one.
