Electromagnetic force analysis of solenoid actuator with different endstructures

Abstract: Aiming at different endstructure of the solenoid actuator, the electromagnetic force of the solenoid actuator was analyzed using the finite element method(FEM) software ANSYS. The performance between the flattened structure and conetype structure was compared based on learning basic principles. The suitable endstructures and different sizeschanges were analyzed by selecting. The influence of structure parameters on electromagnetic force such as chamfer length of the flattened structure core and angle changes of conetype structure was calculated. Experiment results verifies the attraction force characteristic of solenoid actuator with different endstructures. The conclusion is useful for follow research.
