Abstract: Distributed generation system is widely used in the distribution system, the traditional single power supply mode changes to a multi power supply mode, the construction of the system and the system power flow will be changed, and thereby changing the size and direction of each line short-circuit current, it is harder to prepare the grid protection devices and set the value of the protection. Aiming at these problems, the complex distribution system which contains wind farms and thermoelectric power factory was studied,it was analyzed that the change of voltage and current of each bus when the fault happen after the wind farms connected into the system, and it was discussed how the fault location affect the system fault component. Then, the basis for the study of multiterminal supply network protection strategy was proved. The research results show that the line fault component directly relates to the out power of distributed power and distributed power's access position, when distributed access to the distribution network.
