Abstract: In order to solve the problems of hydraulic wind turbine at low voltage ride through(LVRT), the research on transient characteristics in the main transmission during LVRT was launched. Transient model of the hydraulic main transmission was established, and cosimulation platform was built based on AMESim and Matlab/Simulink simulation technology. Effects of different conditions and pipeline length on the laws of the transient characteristics in the main transmission were analysied in a simulation study. Simulation results show that enhancing the pump speed is conducive to rapid response of the system, and shortening the length of the pipeline is conducive to rapid adjustment of the power generation. Research work provides a theoretical basis and advanced technology for the control of LVRT and optimizing hydraulic lines in the main transmission system.
