Axial movement planning of PCB drilling machine based on CPAC

Abstract: During the frequent start stop in the high speed production process, the impact was made to influence the stability of the drilling machine. Aiming at solving this problem, a design of movement patterns of each drilling machine axis was made. On the premise of meeting the job requirements, the best jerk was gotten by optimizing the trapezoidal curve and the triangle curve. By considering jerk, maximum acceleration and top speed, the movement pattern was corresponded to four types of reference model due to the actual distance; then by using the CPAC PVT movement pattern, the four types of model were corresponded to the parameters of PVT mode. The whole process was conducted on the software platform of OtoStudio provided by CPAC; then the test was conducted on the hardware platform of CPAC GUC 400 motion controller with the selected motor. The experimental results indicate that different processing distance can be corresponded to different reference model, the acceleration curve is a continuous curve and the speed curve is a smooth quadratic curve. Then the research planning is proved to be an effective design to reduce the impact of the drilling process and to increase the stability of drilling machine.
