Analysis and optimization of lifting mechanism in shear fork coil car

Abstract: Aiming at the problems that the biggest thrust of the piston is too large and the pressure of hydraulic system is too high in the working process of lifting mechanism in scissor coil car,mechanical model of lifting mechanism was established and analyzed with the knowledge of theoretical mechanics,the functional relationship between the biggest thrust and the installation location parameters was also established,an optimization method was presented.The new design of the twostage hydraulic cylinder was introduced in the process of mathematical modeling.Finally,Matlab was used to calculate and SolidWorks was used for 3D modeling to check interference.The results indicate that the biggest thrust decreases by 40% and verifies the validity of the optimization, which provides certain reference for the same design.
