New space vector PWM drive for the control of twophase BLDC

Abstract: Aiming at the low utilization rate of dc voltage Hbridge inverter and the complicated structure and the poor economic effect of doubleHbridge inverter in the control of twophase BLDC, study on the inverter and the control strategy of twophase BLDC was carried out, and a space vector pulsewidth modulation(SVPWM) system of twophase BLDC which used sixswitch inverter was proposed. A twophase BLDC control system which used double close loops of speed and current control was simulated through Matlab/Simulink. The control performance and the dc voltage utilization rate were tested by using PSoC. The results indicate that the system can realize the quick control of speed and the current of twophase BLDC, and improve the utilization rate of bus voltage. The method is proved to be of great significance.
