Abstract: Aiming at the core issues of error modeling analysis and accuracy allocation of gear transmission system, a new transmission system optimization design scheme with good robustness, economy and practicability was optimized by taking a new type of turntable drive system as an example. Firstly, a stepbystep calculation system of transmission error was established from a single gear to a pair of gears to a gear transmission system, thus a mathematical model of transmission error was established based on probability and statistics method to calculate the transmission error. Secondly, multiobjective topological optimization was carried out according to the traditional genetic algorithm, and a gear accuracy distribution scheme with good economic and engineering significance was created to carry out the allocation of gear accuracy. Finally, the organic integration of the two was pioneered, a new optimal design scheme of transmission system was obtained, and
an experiment was designed to verify its correctness. The research results show that after optimizing the design scheme of new transmission system, under the premise of meeting the design requirements, the relative gear accuracy level can be reduced and the turntable cost can be reduced. Through the experimental verification, the design cycle of gear transmission system can be shortened by 7% and the dependence on experience can be reduced by using the transmission error calculation model.
