Abstract: Product platform innovationupgrading is one of the bottlenecks of maintaining and enhancing independent innovation ability in the process of implementing mass customization, related knowledge organizationmanagementapplication in the process played an irreplaceable role. Firstly, the innovation hierarchy of product platform and its characteristic were analyzed and the innovation processes of product platform were put forward. Then the knowledge requirements in the innovation processes of product platform and its knowledge classification architecture were proposed. Finally, combined with the ontology class definition, ontology attribute definition and ontology instance structure, the application of knowledge model in diver axis platform innovation was given. The results indicate that effectiveness of this method is validated by supporting knowledge classification management of diver axis platform and ensuring its innovation process.
