Study on multiobjective optimization of vehicle suspension

Abstract: In order to solve the coupling problem of the ride and the stability, according to relevant data of W1 cars model for the Wanxiang company provides, modeling the Haima W1 car was done by using multibody dynamics simulation software Adams/car , and then the vehicle model car was used for the ride and the stability simulation, the Haima W1 car was evaluated according to ISO evaluation standard, and the cars initial performance level of ride and stability was gotten. The multiobjective optimization software iSightFD and multibody dynamics simulation software Adams/car were used to joint optimization, the evaluation standard of the ride and the stability of the car was optimized by using the island of genetic algorithms, The optimization results shows that the ride and the stability are improved of the car. Multiobjective optimization of evaluation the performance of the car is balanced and optimizated, then effectively solved the contradictions problem between the ride and the stability of the car.
