Research on the highfrequency actuator of 2D digital valveφ6

Abstract: In order to improve the frequency characteristics of digital servo valve and the response speed,a low inertia of the twophase hybrid stepping motor was choosed and used as the actuator of 2D digital valve6 ejection systems. Then, the basic theory of stepping motor was presented, and a 2D digital servo valve controller which was embedded in current and position of double closed loop control algorithm was designed in this research.The experimental results show that using the stepper motor as the actuator ,the rise time is 5 ms for 100% input signal and the bandwidth is about 305 Hz at -3 dB gain for 25% input signal. The frequency response is higher than the similar actuator of digital servo valve.
