Lowenergy heat control unit study based on anisotropy composite

Abstract: In order to reduce the energy consumption of heat control unit used in ultraprecision machining system, a lowenergy heat control unit was designed based on anisotropy nano composite. In this unit, control flow was accessed through the heat conductors principle direction, while input flow was accessed through the nonprinciple direction. Therefore heat conducting circuit was optimized and energy reduction was realized in theory. The unit was modeled using thermal network theory and the model was updated according to experiment data. The influence to the units control performance was analyzed by considering some key parameters. Further energy reduction method in control strategy was presented in the end. Experiment results show energy reduction of heat control unit is about 50%.
