Design of system update based on Uboot through USB interface

Abstract: In order to improve the systemupdating speed of embedded devices on the basis of low cost, both advantages and disadvantages of serial port, network and USB interface were analyzed.A systemupdating method through USB interface based on universal boot loader(Uboot) was implemented . The implementation of USB device driver in Uboot was introduced,the movement of the interrupt vector table was analyzed, and the updating function was successfully accomplished on AT91SAM9261 processor. The experimental results show that the fast updating speed about 500 KB/s has been achieved with simple hardware configuration in practice.
