Driven control of linear motor in subway based on SVPWM

Abstract:The subway train driven by linear induction motor (LIM)has the merits of small turning radius, good climbing ability, simple structure, small size, little maintenance, reliable operation etc.. It has been well used in urban rail transit. In order to further promote and apply linear motor subway, a selfdesigned subway test line driven by linear induction motor was introduced. Using wireless remote control, a control system based on space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) was designed, simulative test was taken in the laboratory. The experimental results show that this control system can meet the various working conditions when the locomotive is running in the test line and work reliably.
