Sensorless control of two-phase slotless brushless DC motor

Abstract： In order to eliminate the shortcomings of brushless DC motor control based on hall sensors and realize the sensorless control of two-phase slotless brushless DC motor，the structure of stator and rotor ，the winding connections of two-phase slotless brushless DC motor and the zero-crossing of back EMF detection method were analyzed. The hardware system and software system designs of two-phase slotless brushless DC motor were presented. The test results indicate the feasibility and stability of control system. A simple control circuit，low cost，less torque ripples and high stability are the advantages of the design presented.
