Cooperative location algorithm in WSN based on RSSI and its application

Abstract: In order to enhance the precision of wireless location in the traditional wireless sensor network(WSN), a cooperative location algorithm used in the WSN was investigated  After the analysis of the distance between blind nodes and reference nodes,the blind nodes area initially took shape  Then the distance among blind nodes was established by using the received signal strength indication(RSSI) ranging techniqueThe blind node area was narrowed after several times iteration A cooperative location algorithm based on RSSI was proposed The algorithm was evaluated on the Zigbee platform,the differences between this algorithm and the traditional location algorithm were tested The experimental results show that this algorithm has promotion on accuracy, especially in situations where there are fewer nodes The algorithm proposed can be applied in WSN and has a promising future
