Model analysis of multi-head glass diamond-ironing polishing machine

Abstract: Multi-head glass diamond-ironing polishing machine is mainly used for precision polishing on the underside part of the workpieces. In order to improve the surface quality of workpiece ,the vibration of the multi-head diamond-ironing polishing machine was studied from the perspective of structural dynamics. Based on the finite element analysis software ANSYS,the whole machine was simulated. As a result,the order modal analysis data was obtained. From the data,the weak links on the machine were found,and then some actions were taken to optimize the most vulnerable parts. The research results show that the structure of the polishing machine is reinforced and dynamic characteristics is enhanced,which may lead to a better surface quality of glass diamond-ironing ultimately.
