Abstract: Aiming at the economic operation and management of microgrid in standalone operation mode,an optimal energy management method for microgrid in standalone operation mode was proposed. The range of primary operating power of droop control micro-source was reduced in this method,in order to ensure it with enough power regulating margin which was similar to automatic generation control(AGC) of conventional generators for absorbing non-planed instantaneous power in microgrid. In each dispatch time, different energy dispatch strategies were used according to the relation of the net load power and ranges of primary operating power of controllable micro-sources. Load bidding strategy was used, while load shedding and excess-power dissipating were added to power regulation means. The optimal load distribution model and optimal interruptible load model were built. Case study results indicate the effectiveness of the proposed optimal energy management method.
