Volume effect of gas turbine dynamic simulation

Abstract: The numerical results of the volume effect of the dynamic simulation model of gas turbine were oscillating, the principle of volume effect method was analyzed. The virtual volume calculation method was proposed to calculate volume size. Based on the Matlab/Simulink, the dynamic simulation model of a gas turbine developed by the objected-oriented modularized modeling method was established by the volume effect method. The number of iteration was reduced. The models in the same situation based on real volume and virtual volume were calculated. The results indicate that the simulation model based on virtual volume is more stable and more accurate.
