Abstract:Aiming at the problem of increasing the molding precision and efficiency in batch processing of minute elongated slot,theelectrochemical machining technology was applied to process minute elongated slot. Based on the principle of electrochemical machining,the molding precision model of minute elongated slot was established,and judged by its accuracy of replication. Consequently,the factorsthat had influence on molding precision were listed as follows:surficial gap,slide gap and internal flow field variation. According to the
analysis above,the corresponding machining experiments on different processing methods and feeding speed of the cathode tool wereconducted. The experimental results indicate that the molding precision and efficiency of minute elongated slot are increased by tiltingmultistage cathode to traverse longitudinally along the groove.In addition,the results also indicate that increasing the feeding speed ofcathode tool is helpful to the molding precision and efficiency of minute elongated slot in the context of machining stability. Thus,themethod above is important and significant to the batch processing of minute elongated slot.
