Driving power for S-type linear piezoelectric motor

Abstract:To meet the requirement of phase controlled for S-type linear piezoelectric motor,a new type of driving power was designed.forThe design of a signal generator based on direct digital synthesizer(DDS)and programmable system on chip(PSOC3),providing 3-phasesin wave voltage signal with 120° phase difference was proposed. The CD4051 and LM358 was used as the main component to design the
PGA circuit. A linera power amplifier circuit was designed,and the problem of quick-discharge for the piezoelectric stack was solved. Theexperimental results demonstrate that the driving power is reliable for the s-type linear piezoelectric motor with long-time stability.
