Investigation and design of innovation networking
platform for electrical machines

Abstract: Aiming at the problems of the electrical machines industry such as the weak selfinnovation capability, long development cycle and low efficiency of traditional development, as the trend of informational and networked manufacturing industries was considered, computer network and relative electrical machines′ development and manufacturing technology were combined, and an innovation development networking platform for electrical machines was proposed. After the the platform′s definition, function, structure, method and the design of interface were systematically analyzed, the connection between the development process based on the “Big Manufacturing” and the architecture of the platform based on network was established, and the integral architecture of the platform was established. On the basis of platform′s architecture, the design of database was analyzed, and the concept, principle and detailed composition as well as application of SaaSbased application integration module, intelligent design of motor based on expert system module and auxiliary motor manufacturing module were discussed, and ultimately the platform′s preliminary design and interface display were realized on the Web. The results indicate that the innovation development networking platform for electrical machines is feasible, and its construction and application are of great significance to the development of motor industry.
