Design of capacitive electronic yarn clearer system

Abstract: Aiming at the problems of the present electronic yarn clearers are mainly designed by analog circuits, which are great influenced by aging of components, and the low detection efficiency, a kind of digital circuit was designed into the electronic yarn clearers and the capacitance was uesd as the sensing element. The development of a capacitive electronic yarn clearer system was achieved. The ARM STM32 chip was used as the CPU of the system, the quality of yarn was detected through the detecting module, the detected data would be delivered to the middleboard, and the stored data would be delivered to the PC by middleborad.The RS485 bus was used for the detecting module to communicate with the middleboard, which could achieve the goal of commands exchanging, and the detecting module could receive configuration from PC by RS485 bus. The yarn detecting experiment shows that the system has the characters of accuracy,low power and realtime, which can be widely used in the textile industry of yarn and has a high level for yarn′s quality detecting.
