Multi-channel endurance testing system for electromechanicalrelays based on PLC

Abstract:Aiming at the contact performance and reliability of relays after long-term working,endurance test was the very necessarymeasure to ensure product quality. Based on the new requirements of relevant varieties of international and national standards of thelatest version,an endurance testing system integrated with electrical endurance and mechanical endurance testing ability was developed.Nine output circuits could be connected at the same time with an option of a load or no-load mode. A brief introduction to the technicalrequirements of the system was given. It was built up with PLC,current sensors,touch screen,and other automation components. Modules,such as mode selection,parameter setting,channel selection,on-off frequency acquisition,abnormality detection and determination,soundand light alarms,etc. were designed by software programming. The research results indicate that this new kind of testing system for relaysproved to be efficient and accurate.
