Review of common PV array topology reconfiguration methods

Abstract:Aiming at solving the problem of power reduction due to the mismatch caused by the environment and the system itself in a PV system,the system topology reconstruction technology was investigated in PV generation system. To deal with the mismatch condition,at present,the method commonly used to increase output power of PV system is using improved method of maximum power tracking,however this method has been widely studied,and in order to improve the output performance of PV system,the study on PV system topology is caused increasingly attention. Under different operation conditions,study on the topology of PV system reconstruction method to improve output power has much more significance. After analysis of plenty of commonly used PV array topology reconfiguration strategies,on the basis of comparing their advantages and disadvantages,the PV array topology reconstruction methods were evaluated. The results indicate that,choosing the appropriate PV array topology when under different operation conditions can improve output performance of the PV array.
