Abstract:In order to solve the problems of low accuracy,poor characteristics of speed governing,higher failure rate and large maintenance in traditional gantry planer control system,machine principle of work and workflow was analyzed,S7-200 series PLC was applied. The relationship of the PLC technology and gantry planer control object was established. The system design method was put forward. The system function such as the configuration of hardware,input and output,control software were introduced. The research results show that the system is simplified and so easy to overhaul. By programming control the process,labour and relay element are reduced,maintenance workload is decreased,the reliability,the economical efficiency and the automation have been highly developed.
