 Optimization and simulation for lock device on elevator based

on SolidWorks

Abstract:Aiming at the problem of safety defect on one conventional type of elevator lock device,the failure cause under extreme operation condition was analyzed. The design improving method of modifying arm component and adding counter weight block was advanced. By using functional module,SolidWorks Motion under the platform of SolidWorks2010,the model used for rigid body dynamics simulation was built. After analyzing the dynamics during doors’whole process of opening and closing under normal and extreme operation condition,the volume of counterweight was established. At the end,by calculation and comparison with the force analysis
situation on the arm component,the result of dynamic analysis is correct. The results indicate that the safety defect is eliminated on the improved design,and it is effective。
