Abstract: Aiming at the reliability of briquetting machine, the compressed mechanism was analyzed. The Bayesian network was used in the reliability analysis of hydraulic system. Concept and formula of Bayesian network were proposed, method that how to create the Bayesian network was given. An exact reasoning method based on graphical structure was adopted. The failure probability of hydraulic components were confirmed through manual. The results indicate that failure probability of hydraulic system is 0.0574, the failure probability of reversing valve is 0.252. Though Bayesian network could obtain the failure probability of components easily, the weaknesses of the system is find, the reliability of the system is improve.
