Abstract: Aiming at adopting the traditional “three layer two network” architecture, the intelligent sabstation was limited by high equipment cost, the interlayer device isolation and process level network coverage for substation data type, network architecture and network equipment and other aspects of the study, a intelligent substation framework constructed was put forward by the network technology of passive optical sensing double layers network. Using the passive optical network (PON) form the station intelligent network, and adopting the packet switching, parallel network, logical GOOSE/SV/ MMS subnetworks, connection oriented technology to replace the existing object oriented Ethernet construction technology, the station network was integrated. Any two devices of the substation could realize the communication directly through a unified network, and the integration of spacer device and process level device. The results indicate that double layers network architecture has the characteristics of simple structure, less equipment, strong antiinterference ability and good stability.
