Research on wireless sensor networks of photovoltaic
panels based on small world model

Abstract: Aiming at solving the problem of monitoring the working condition of photovoltaic(PV) panel in PV microgrid system, the small world network model in complex networks was applied to the monitoring of PV panel. Carried out the analysis of the parameters of PV panel, established the relationship between the topological structure formed by the PV panel with the small world network model, and a query strategy based on the small world network model (QueryWSN) was presented. Evaluated whether the topological structure formed by the PV panel components with the characteristics of small world network model, modeling and simulation analysis were carried out on the NS2 simulation platform. Stated and storage the information acquisition of PV panel through the singlechip, and the logical association was takem as a long distance connection to reduce the characteristic path length of the network. The results indicate that QueryWSN can accurately query the PV panel′s state information and also had a good scalability which laid the foundation to popularize and apply PV microgrid technology.
