Abstract: Aiming at the situation of small plots, multi hills and easy subsidence in Southern China and some problems in transverse axial flow full feed combine harvester, in order to solve the problems of transmission efficiency is not high, easy to jam, loss rate of unthreshed head and lined grain, the longitudinal axial flow threshing equipment was investigated. Design of small longitudinal axial flow full feed combine harvester and calculation of main parameters was proposed. The design principle of transmission system was determined. The parameters of transmission system was calculated and checked which is taking on 1.6kg/s. The results indicate that the system is reliable and feasible and the grain loss rate of unthreshed head and lined grain of longitudinal axial flow full feed combine harvester is 0.36%,which reduces by 48.6% of small transverse axial flow full feed combine harvester.
