Abstract:
Aiming at the control problem of high power, high precision and three dimension laser cutting technology, the trajectory interpolation and speed control of multiaxis laser cutting technology were studied, a five axis laser cutting control system was proposed. For the laser cutting device, Gantry was used, three axes driving Laser head space movement named X, Y, Z and two axes driving Laser head swing named A, Z. A dual CPU with NC embedded PC was used in control system. In the Window7 and .NET Framework, the background management program of control system was developed and the Non uniform rational B spline (NURBS)curve interpolation preprocessing algorithm was designed with C#, etc. The NC, with the GALIL motion controller DMC 1856 as the core, implemented the realtime part of NURBS interpolation, peripheral logic control(PLC) and position control .The NURBS interpolation and the speed control algorithm of the control system were simulated with Matlab. The result indicate that the control system can be applied to laser cutting of complex free space Surface and meet the high speed and high accuracy requirements of modern processing.
