Speed control system of brushless DC motor based on fuzzy adaptivePID control

Abstract: Aiming at the problem of low control precision and poor control effect of the brushless DC motor speed control with the routine PID control, a speed control system of the brushless DC motor was designed with STM8S based on fuzzy adaptivePID control. According to the working principle of the brushless DC motor, three Holzer sensors were used to check the position signal of the rotor and the position signal was turned into the electrical signal. The duty ration of the PWM was changed to control the power MOSFET by using the fuzzy adaptivePID control. The speed control system of the brushless DC motor was simulated with the routine PID control or the fuzzy adaptivePID control in Matlab/Simulink. In addition, the hardware circuit of the system and the software realization method were designed, and experiments were done. The results indicate that the overshoot of system is smaller and the conrtol effect is better with the fuzzy adaptivePID control.It works stable and reliably, responses fast and has low cost. The system can satisfy the use requirements.
