Abstract: In order to solve the various damage problems affecting the safety of ships, the necessity, function, composition, principle, architecture, hardware and software aspects of the integrated ship damage control system was studied. The three layer control model of management, control and data layer based on the damage console, field control equipment and data processing equipment and various types of sensors and actuators was summarized. The integrated ship damage control system based on the sensor, programmable logic controller and damage console was put forward. The performance, function, environment adaptability and electromagnetic compatibility of the integrated ship damage control system was test based on the semi physical simulation test, landbased joint test and application of the ship. The research results show that: the system can monitor all kinds of damage risk status in realtime, improve the level of management and control of the risk of damage to the ship, and ensure the safety, reliability of the ship.
