Design of miniaturized three axis gimbal

Abstract: Aiming at precision tracking of maneuvering targets over the top and the mobility of a photoelectric precision tracking and measuring system , in summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of existing photoelectric precision tracking and measuring equipment ,a miniature three axis photoelectric tracking gimbal was put forward, first the relationship between horizontal frame size and pitch tracking blind area maximum inclination angle between the axis was introduced; then the tracking strategy of zenith region was introduced; finally the pitch axis tilt tracking control method, downlink optical path was introduced. Study and analysis results show that small threeaxis photoelectric tracking frame structure is compact and it can realize the target of overhead tracking. Compared to common threeaxis optoelectronic tracking system which can track the goal through the top, the structure of the dynamic performance is better, but also conducive to mobile equipment transportation.
