Abstract: Aiming at the problems existing in the straightening of the conductive rod straightening of the hub type straightening machine, the double rotation hub type straightening technique was applied to the conductive rod straightening process.In the nickel smelter in a domestic electrical specifications for the nickel conductive rod φ36×3×1 350 as the research object, a simplified three dimensional model of a double rotating hub type straightening machine was established by SolidWorks, and a numerical simulation method was used to simulate the double rotating hub type by using Deform 3D simulation software.The influence of the rotation speed of the rotor and the speed difference on the straightening effect was studied respectively.The results show that the flatness of the conductive rod can reach 2.60mm / m after the straightening of the double rotating hub straightening machine, which shows that the double rotating hub type straightening technology can be applied to the conductive rod straightening process.
