Abstract: Aiming that the deparameterization and dedigitalization in the design process of mushroomshaped blade root milling cutter, the UG threedimensional modeling software was used to develop a digital mushroomshaped blade root profile, and finite element analysis was run on the force by using ANSYS consequently, the parameterization and digitization were achieved. Furthermore, the rationality and usability of tool design were verified by the force analysis of finite element. The results show that applying UG threedimensional to modeling and conducting finite element analysis through ANSYS help to design and optimize the mushroomshaped blade root milling cutter.
