Abstract: Aiming at the problem of optimizing the processing parameters to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, an experimental study on dry cutting turning was carried out. Firstly, a goal was set that let energy consumption and cutting fore minimize as much as possible, and material remoral rate maximize, the optimum combination of parameters was obtained by using software. Secondly, the optimum scheme of software optimization for design experts was verified and checked, and compared with the turning parameters under conventional conditions, the optimum processing parameters were summarized. 45 steel was turned, and then aluminum was studied in this experimental study. The results show that the energy saving of 45 steel and aluminum is different,by optimizing the processing parameters, both materials can significantly reduce energy consumption, thereby reducing carbon emissions.
