Integral squeeze film damper vibration inhibition of doubledisc cantilever rotor system

Abstract: Aiming at the problem of unbalance response of doubledisk cantilever rotor system, an integral squeeze film damper(ISFD)was designed, at the same time, corresponding bearing house and oil supply circuit were designed for ISFD. A doubledisk cantilever rotor testbench whose first modal parameter and second modal parameter were calculated by ANSYS was built. The static stiffness of ISFD was calculated by finite element technology, moreover the first modal stiffness of doubledisc rotor system were compared with ISFD stiffness, the firstorder modal parameters of the rotor system was adjusted by ISFD elastic support. The influence of elastic support and different oil intake method on the vibration reduction effect of ISFD were analyzed in the experimental process. The results show that the ISFD elastic support can effectively suppress the overcritical vibration of the rotor system, and the ISFD damping coefficient of oil supply by gear pump is larger than that of oilimmersed lubrication.
