Abstract: Aiming at the problem of frequent vibration in the working process of coke oven pushing device,the mechanism of vibration of coke pushing device caused by gear and rack transmission system was investigated in this paper. A method combining finite element simulation with experimental analysis was proposed. The modal analysis of the coke pushing device was carried out by using the finite element simulation method, the low order modes of free mode and constrained mode were extracted, the timefrequency analysis was carried out by using the experimental data collected in the field, the rotation frequency of the gear and the meshing frequency of the gear and rack were calculated in the gear and rack transmission system. The modal analysis results were compared with the characteristic frequencies of the gear and rack transmission system. The results indicate that the meshing transmission of gear and rack and the rotation of gear will lead to obvious vibration of coke pushing device. Changing the number of teeth of the gear and adjusting the operating frequency of the motor can effectively reduce the possibility of vibration of the coke pushing device.
