Abstract: Aiming at the complexity of the disassembly information model and the difficulty of its construction in the current complex product disassembly sequence planning process, the constraint meaning, meaning of expression and construction method of the disassembly information model were studied. On the basis of the synchronous release of geometric constraint relationship of disassembly components, a disassembly hierarchy model and its construction method was proposed. A disassembly hierarchy model was defined to describe the constraint information such as contact, space constraints, and disassembly priority between components. The acquisition method of the sub-disassembly body was proposed. Furthermore, the sub-disassembly body was obtained by decomposing the disassembly tasks of complex product layer by layer. Thus, the initial disassembly hierarchical model was constructed after all of the sub-disassembly bodies were obtained. In order to remove the redundant information in the initial disassembly hierarchical model, the disassembly constraint simplification rules were given, and the disassembly hierarchical model was formed after simplification. Finally, the feasibility of the proposed model and construction method was verified by an engine case. The results indicate that the modeling efficiency is increased by employing the characteristics of modular design of complex products, which provides a support for solving the automation disassembly problem of complex products by computer.
