Design and simulation of hydraulic parallel buffer system for hoist over winding

Abstract: Aiming at the pressure impact in the cavity of hydraulic cylinder at hoist over winding buffer stage,a hydraulic parallel buffer system of winder was designed. The working principle of the hoist over winding up and down buffer was researched. The AMESIM simulation model of the system was built. The dynamic performance of the hydraulic parallel buffer system was simulated. The dynamic characteristics were obtained. The influence of the piston diameter, the piston rod diameter and two chambers area ratio of hydraulic cylinder on the hoist motion characteristic were studied. The influence laws were analyzed and summarized. The research indicates that increasing the piston diameter of the over winding hydraulic cylinder can reduce the fluctuation degree of the falling acceleration of the hoist. The area ratios of 1.49 and 1.25 have a better parallel buffer effect.
