Abstract: Aiming at the key technical problem in the submersible screw pump oil extraction system, the excessive axial force of the limiting bearing leads to the limitation of the overall life of the system, based on the design concept of "series structure, parallel load", a series bearing group structure was designed,so that the bearing unit of the bearing group bears the axial load evenly, in order to improve the overall life of the system.The tandem bearings form was adopted to replace the original single bearing structure.The equivalent mechanical model of bearings was established.The equivalent mechanical network of the equivalent mechanical model was obtained by using mechanical impedance analysis method, and the load uniformity theory of the tandem bearings was analyzed.Numerical simulation method was used to compare the equivalent stress and strain between the multistage bearings and the original structure.The load performance and carrying capacity of the multistage tandem bearings were analyzed. The results indicate that the equivalent stress of the second, third, fourth and fifth tandem bearings to the original structure are reduced by 40.75%, 60.36%, 67.77% and 71.19%, respectively, when the axial load is constant. The uniform loading effect is good due to uniform loading rate is above 82%, which improves the carrying capacity of the tandem bearings effectively.The tandem bearings provide a feasible method for studying the axial bearing capacity of the electrical submersible motor driven progressing cavity pumping system, and also provides a reference for other devices that need to improve the bearing capacity and reliability of gauge bearings under extreme working conditions.
