Remote communications system of domestic  robot based on GPRS network

Abstract:In order to realize the remote communication function of home security robot,J2ME Technology,Internet Web technology,mobile wireless network and simple mail transfer protocol(SMTP) was applied to the remote communication system and a method of sending email through server-side was presented to achieve remote communication. The remote communication system based on J2ME and GPRS was established.Firstly,the overall framework of the system and functional module was discussed. Then,the features of each module and the key technologies were designed in detail. Finally,using GPRS wireless network and Tomcat server,the remote communication system based on mobile development module was verified. The test results indicate that the system meets the needs of home robot's remote communications.The methods will have a good prospect of application and high utility value.
