Application of implicit precise time-integration method in power system transient stability analysis

Abstract: The power system transient analysis is of great importance to the power system operation.Aiming at overcoming the weaknesses of the implicit trapezoidal integration,traditional implicit integretation and precise time-integration method were applied to solve the power system transient stability calculation. After the analysis of the explicit precise time-integration method,then the implicit precise time-integration method was proposed according to characteristics of the implicit integretation which is of high precision and easy to use . The experimental results of NewEngland system(10 generators 39 buses system)were verified. The results indicate that the precise time-integration method is better on the calculation speed and the calculation precision than the traditonal integration method.
