Abstract: Aiming at the problem that optimal operation of distribution network with the electric vehicle charging station, in order to achieve the objective of reducing the loss of the distribution network and improving the network voltage quality, based on common optimal measures, the comprehensive optimization for distribution network with the electric vehicle charging station was researched. After the analysis of the relations among reactive power optimization, network reconfiguration and power input of the electric vehicle charging station, a method to unified optimize the above three by using particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm was proposed. The IEEE33 system was tested. The results indicate that the network loss and voltage under the comprehensive optimization are the best, and the proposed algorithm is effective.
